Questions I ask to determine pricing include:
- What size do you want the map to be?
- Will it be in colour or B&W?
- Do you have reference photos and/or a rough outline of the map?
- What date do you need the map completed by?
A bit of info on my work:
- I've made maps in every style (historical, fantasy, sci-fi, isometric, topographical, cut-away, blueprint, etc.) for many different reasons (books, DnD campaigns, fan maps, zines, worldbuilding, etc.)
- I work in Procreate and provide JPEG and PDF files at 300 DPI (high resolution).
- When printed, I use 100# matte cardstock for a sturdy and authentic feel.
